Not a basic, WHO?
Before there was Not A Basic Bleach, there was a little girl in Batavia, NY who was convinced, truly convinced, that the right outfit could change everything. While other kids were outside, Frankie was dressing her Barbies, hand-stitching felt outfits for her dolls, and building a tiny fashion world entirely her own.
She took that obsession straight into the real world, landing at Victoria's Secret and PINK, clawing her way up until she was one of their top district managers on the entire east coast. Going city to city, opening stores, training teams, setting the standard. She wasn't just working in fashion.. She was running it.
Then came COVID. The world stopped. Frankie didn't.
What started as "something to do" during lockdown had actually been brewing her entire life: the custom cruise tees, the concert shirts, the party sets she'd been making for friends for years. NABB didn't come out of nowhere. It came out of decades of someone who simply cannot stop creating.
You might know her from before. Back when this was PupFrankTees, Frankie built real roots in the Buffalo clothing scene and earned a loyal following that never forgot her. Not A Basic Bleach is the next chapter, and it's the best one yet.
She didn't do it alone either. Her sister Erika has been there from day one, designing, showing up to popups, and making sure this never feels like work because to both of them, it never really has.
Frankie has seen fashion across the world, traveled countries, studied it, absorbed it, and brought all of it back to a garage in Buffalo, NY where she bleaches, dyes, creates, and ships pieces that have never existed before and never will again.
She'll tell you it's just a hobby that got out of hand. But watch the way she works. Watch what she makes. This was never just a hobby.
